- In preparation for Memorial Weekend, The Whitfield County community is urging pet owners to prioritize the safety of their animals, especially because of the potential distress caused by fireworks. - this week, The graduating seniors of Dalton High School Catamounts and Dalton Academy have continued the annual tradition of returning to their elementary schools to walk through the halls one last time.
