As someone who spends a lot of time online, I don’t understand how people on the internet make cleaning their home seem easy or fun. I would spend hours watching creators vacuum, dust, mop, clean and reorganize their homes using a fast-moving effect that makes it look like they’ve used a spell from Harry Potter. Logically, I know that cleaning is an annoying and time-consuming task for most people — and social media is not a reality. But still: why not for me Cleaning days are half as smooth as the TikToks that fascinated me?

You can imagine my joy, the Tineco Floor One S5 Extreme, a 3-in-1 vacuum cleaner, mop, and self-cleaning floor washer (currently on sale for $400, originally $500), has arrived on my doorstep. This cordless vacuum (!!!) combines vacuuming and mopping in one device so you can clean even easier and faster, plus it self-adjusts how vigorously it cleans certain areas based on how dirty the surface is. It’s pretty much the real-life equivalent of one of those TikTok videos that gets cleaned up quickly, except it’s very real, completely unedited, and only a few more days off.

About the Tineco Floor One S5 Extreme

Tineco Floor One S5 Extreme is basically a vacuum cleaner and mop in one. It sucks up dust and debris with a vacuum cleaner, while the brush roller sprays water and sweeps the surface behind it. The Floor One S5 has a runtime of up to 35 minutes before it needs to be refueled, and it’s completely wireless. (It charges on an included battery dock when you’re not using it.) What makes it so cool is that you don’t need to push it — it actually pushes forward on its own, so all you have to do is point it in the direction you want to clean, and it just kind of takes you there. . everything is close-JetsonsFor example, complete with smart technology that “talks” while cleaning and tells you what you’re doing, while its display tells you how much battery time is left. Rosie the robot, is that you?!

Like a robot maid from the future, iLoop (smart sensor technology) detects how dirty the floor is to automatically adjust the flow, suction and speed of the brush roller. When you’re done, you can simply dump out the dirty water (and when you’re ready to clean your house again, just refill the water and accompanying cleaning solution, plus a clean brush head, and you’re good to go.)

It’s only for hard surfaces, but it’s safe on all types (wood, tile, vinyl, etc.). If you have carpet, it’s best to stick with a vacuum or carpet sweeper.

Tineco Floor One S5 Extreme features

  • broom: The high suction power removes dirt, dust and debris. If you are looking for a floor-only vacuum cleaner, you can turn off the mop feature.
  • wiper: Using a brush roller (it comes with three rollers, so it’s easy to swap), it sweeps across surfaces, deep-cleaning stains and dirt at the surface level. If you only want to mop floors, you can turn off the suction.
  • iLoop Smart Sensor Technology: Built-in ‘dirt detector’ that adjusts suction, roll speed and water flow to efficiently clean the floor while using minimal battery life.
  • Edge cleaning: The way it’s designed, you can get really close to the panels and the corners.
  • bigger tank: This model has a larger tank than its predecessors, which means longer runtime without the need for emptying and refilling.
  • Long battery life: You have up to 35 minutes before you need to recharge.
  • Self-cleaning feature: It has built-in self-cleaning features that wash the inner tube and brush roller – that means less maintenance for you.
  • supplements: It comes with three brush rollers, a bottle of Tineco cleaning solution, two dry filters, a charging base, a cleaning tool, and an adapter.

My honest review of the Tineco Floor One S5 Extreme

I’ve tested pretty much all brands of floor cleaners, and I’m a huge fan of the Tineco Floor One S5 Extreme – it takes a lot. For context: I have two 90-pound German Shepherds that shed throughout the year, so my room floor is always covered in black fur. I’m also not a very clean person, so you’ll find crumbs, dust, dirt, etc., on the floor at any time. Needless to say, it takes a truly A high-powered cleaner to make my floors look immaculate, and so far I’ve been using a combination of a Dyson Outsize ($850) and a Bissell Steam Mop ($102). Both are great, but it takes about 45 minutes to clean my 1,700-square-foot house, and by the end of that, my triceps and biceps are looking like Jell-O.

I honestly wasn’t expecting much from the S5 Extreme—I thought there was no way it could handle all the dog hair and human mess. something It sure was unsound, and either it would lose piles of dog hair and leave my floor a wet, furry mess, or it would suck up the hair without brushing anything else behind.

But after five minutes of scrubbing my floors (which are vinyl), I was shocked that it picked up every little hair and scrubbed behind instantly, leaving the surface sparkling clean and dust-free.

Partly because of the push feature (it’s just kind of He goes On its own and you follow along), it has been able to clean almost my entire house without using all the water or draining the battery. She finally alerted me that I had to empty the water and replace the tank with more solution by the time I was almost done so that didn’t happen completely Cover the entire surface area without refilling. However, I had about 10 minutes left, so even though I had to add more water, I was able to clean in half the time I would normally spend with my broom and steam mop.

In addition, the wireless feature is much appreciated. I got it with my Dyson, but the Bissell steam mop is corded unfortunately, so I have to separate room to room. (I know the problems with champagne).

Who is better for the Tineco Floor One S5 Extreme?

This floor cleaner is perfect for people who have hard floors and want to spend as little time as possible cleaning. Since it has 35 minutes of battery life and a medium-sized water tank, it will clean your house in one go if you have a home smaller than 1,700 square feet (I estimate based solely on my experience alone), but it’s still great for larger homes (you’ll only need to re- Fill the water tank and possibly recharge).

What flaws did you notice? The cleaner is not completely Self cleaning. You still have to remove and rinse the brush. Charging time is also not fast – it takes 3-4 hours to fully restore battery life. Otherwise, I give this floor cleaner all the thumbs up (and maybe a hug for cleaning my house well?).
