Mitch took to TikTok to share budget-friendly pepper cheese dogs that require just eight ingredients.
Now people pledge to test the £4.50 recipe on their own children, convinced that the fake recipe will work.
Known online as @mealsbymitch, the creator regularly shares family-friendly meal ideas with his 1.2 million followers.
In a new clip, he said: “What an absolute treat.
Budget chile cheese dogs, and just look how naughty they look.
You could earn six of them for a total of £4.50, here’s your guide.
So I cut an onion in half and then chopped the remaining half.
“Medium heat. Add a few chopped onions and a little salt. Cook it for three to four minutes.
“I added four cloves of garlic. Leave it for another minute, then add the seasoning.
“If you have your own spices in the cupboard, that’s even better. They’ll be cheaper.”
“Just stir it all up. Add a whole can of tomatoes, a whole tin of mixed beans, then fill one of the cans halfway with water and tip that over, too.
Chop up the tomatoes, and then let that bubble away for now over low heat.
“I added sliced onions to some hot oil, just to make them nice and crunchy, and I’m going to fry these hot dogs.

Finish the chili with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
